Looks great, Very Functional

This headboard is a great price, it's functional, and looks very stylish once it's put together. It is a spacesaver if you have a narrow bedroom like we do, which can not accomodate nightstands. Assembly is not too difficult if you have assembled something before. Some of the pieces are very fragile until they are put together. Just take it very slowly, read the instructions carefully, and get some help with the large parts. I assembled the king headboard right on top of our bed, it was the most comfortable place to do so, and then it was easy to transfer it to the floor, with help from my husband. In addition, I cut two holes in the back board as pass throughs for electrical cords, using a hole cutter on my drill. It is better to drill the holes before you tack on the back, as this will protect the thin finish better. Just hold up the back to the assembled headboard case, measure and mark where the holes are needed, and then move the back to a safe place on the floor where you can drill the holes. Drill slowly, and you will have a good result. We are very pleased with this headboard.
Love it!

i bought this headboard for my apartment, its great! The finish is beautiful and matches my other furniture perfectly. It comes in a HUGE box that is impossible for a small person like me to carry but is easy to assemble (if you follow the directions really closely). one of the down sides of the headboard is the finish isnt on all sides so its something to watch while assembling. Wood is nice but not real thick will last for at least three years and great for a starter headboard.
Awsome!!

I was searching at Amazon.com for a sturdy and affordable bed for my 13 year old son. When I came across this Manhattan Full/Queen Bookcase Headboard in Espresso Finish, I thought it was perfect. Words can not describe how please my son and I are with this purchase. The color is rich and it is solid and sturdy. I don't think I could have found something better for the price I paid. It was money well spent. I am going to purchase the matching Dresser and Night Stand. I definately recomment this product.
Beautiful!

Headboard looks great... we have the platform bed as well, but it really would look good with just a mattress on one of those metal bed frames (don't use the box springs, though... or you'll block some of the shelving). But, I highly recommend. Super easy to put together, too!
Looks great, fits our needs, for the price

We got the espresso storage headboard in Queen/double size. It fits the bed fine and the measurements given online were correct. Storage headboards are a great solution for tight spaces where a night stand won't fit. This one has plenty of storage space and looks very nice. As others mentioned, we had to cut holes in the backing for electrical cords. Lucikly we have a hole saw that worked perfectly with the cordless drill we used for faster assembly. Assembly was pretty easy with only a couple of confusing diagrams since none of the pieces were labelled as to what piece number they were. You can leave out the center horizontal shelf if you want all of your cubbies to be the same height. I found the lowest price including shipping for this on Amazon. For the price, it is great.
